Passionate about bringing roots to the surface, La Belle Excuse offers freshly pressed olive oil-based products straight from family-owned olive groves located in Chora, Trifilia, Greece. 
Restaurant owner Aristo cultivated his family’s olive groves at a very early age. While working at Bistro La Belle Excuse in Joliette, Quebec with his partner Michèle, Aristo would bring over 4 tons of olive oil to Canada each year. They offered it as a side for customers who wanted to enjoy its taste with a piece of bread. La Belle Excuse emerged in 2005 as more and more clients showed interest in the tasty product. They now work with their three daughters!
